The People's Award

The Daily Mirror logoFor the third year running, the Office for Criminal Justice Reform will team up with the Daily Mirror to hold the People's Award. This award is an opportunity to show the public the truly great individuals working at the heart of criminal justice, and enable them to vote for their favourite.

Five finalists will be profiled in the Daily Mirror in the week leading up to the ceremony. Readers then have the chance to vote for a winner via phone line, text, or online through the Daily Mirror website. The proceeds from the phone calls and texts are donated to a criminal justice charity, which last year was Women's Aid. The winner is announced at the Justice Awards ceremony in October, and is awarded £1,000 prize money to spend on a criminal justice charity of their choice.
